How to change your browser's home page
Below are instructions for setting your homepage in the most popular web browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari). Please let us know if any of these descriptions are incorrect.
Google Chrome
Click on the menu icon (three horizontal bars) 
in the top right of the screen
Click "Settings"
Select "Open a specific page or set of pages"
Click "Set pages" in the "On startup" section
Enter "www.blackle.com"
If you do not see the "On startup" section, click "Show advanced settings..." at the bottom of the page
Optional steps for setting home button:
Tick "Show Home button" in the "Appearance" section of the settings screen
When the "Show Home button" checkbox is selected, a link that says "Change" appears below it
Click "Change"
Select "Open this page" and enter "www.blackle.com"
Optional steps for setting Blackle as default search engine:
Click the "Manage search engines..." button in the "Search" section of the settings screen
Click "blackle.com" in the "Other search engines" list
Click the "Make default" button
Internet Explorer
There are 2 ways to set Blackle as your homepage in Internet Explorer. We recommend you try the first method and if that fails, try the alternative.
Recommended method:
Visit blackle.com using Internet Explorer
Click "Make Blackle your Homepage" below the search box
Select "Use this webpage as your only home page"
Click the "Yes" button
or
Alternative method:
Click on the "Tools" menu or icon (cog) 
at the top of the screen
Click on the "Internet options" item in the menu
Click on the "General" tab in the top left corner of the Internet options window (if it's not already selected)
Enter www.blackle.com in the "Home page" text box
Click the "OK" button at the bottom of the window
Firefox (Windows)
There are 2 ways to set Blackle as your homepage in Firefox. We recommend you try the first method and if that fails, try the alternative.
Recommended method:
Visit blackle.com using Firefox
Click the grey globe icon 
to the left of the web address
Drag it to the home icon, to the far right of the web address, and release
Click the "Yes" button
or
Alternative method:
Click on the "Tools" menu at the top of the screen
Click on the "Options" item in the menu
Click on the "General" tab in the top left corner of the Options window (if it's not already selected)
Select "Show my home page" from the "When Firefox starts" drop-down
Enter www.blackle.com in the "Home Page" text box
Click the OK button at the bottom of the window
Firefox (Mac OS X)
Click on the "Firefox" menu at the top of the screen
Click on the "Preferences..." item in the menu
Click on the "General" tab in the top left corner of the Preferences window (if it's not already selected)
Select "Show my home page" from the "When Firefox starts" drop-down
Enter www.blackle.com in the "Home Page" text box
Close the window
Safari
Click on the "Safari" menu at the top of the screen
Click on the "Preferences..." item in the menu
Click on the "General" tab in the top left corner of the Preferences window (if it's not already selected)
Select "Homepage" from the "New windows open with" drop-down
Select "Homepage" from the "New tabs open with" drop-down
Enter www.blackle.com in the "Homepage" text box
